For over 175 years, Cunard have been perfecting ocean travel, carrying guests across the great oceans in incomparable style and elegance. Cunard has always been renowned for its grand liners, some of which have been the world's most famous ships, like the Mauretania, the original Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary, the legendary Queen Elizabeth II, and the beloved Carpathia, which rescued survivors of the ill-fated Titanic.

Today, their 'three queens' - RMS Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth - continue to uphold Cunard's unrivalled legacy and the heritage of their fabled vessels. Opulent and grand, as befits the flag ship for Cunard, the Queen Mary II boasts sweeping staircases, ornately extravagant decor, and grand public areas. From her home port of Southampton, the Queen Mary II (or QM2), takes up to 2,620 guests across the Atlantic (and other destinations) in iconic style. The largest ocean liner ever built, she is in fact taller than the Empire State Building. Although the smallest of Cunard's three queens, the 2,014-passenger Queen Victoria is just as grand and elegant, and boasts classic interiors which exude class and refinement, and tastefully reflect Victorian and Edwardian styles. Evoking a sense of grandeur, the Queen Elizabeth boasts ornate chandeliers and art deco touches, grand, sweeping staircases, plush accommodation, fine dining and traditional afternoon tea, held in the stunning two-deck Queen's Room. A stunning ship ideal for traditional cruisers.

Whichever ship, from the moment you step onboard, greeted by a courteous and attentive crew, you'll experience impeccable service, and a distinctively elegant cruise experience. Nothing on the seas quite compares to the splendour of the Queens Room for afternoon tea, served by white-gloved waiting staff, and accompanied by a string quartet - you'll be transported to the golden age of ocean travel. At night, The Queens Room becomes the magnificent setting to take to the floor and waltz the night away at Cunard's legendary themed Balls, accompanied by renowned musical ensembles and big bands.

Rachel has visited Queen Elizabeth and sailed on Queen Victoria. Rachel has also sailed on the QM2, Cunard's flagship.
