Cruise and Maritime Voyages

Whether sailing from one of the fifteen regional UK and Ireland ports, or on a fly-cruise aboard the premium 1220 passenger Vasco da Gama or the delightful Astor, you can be assured of a charming, traditionally British small-ship cruise experience. You'll feel right at home onboard, with the friendly, attentive staff, and intimate, convivial atmosphere. With the small sizes of the ships, you'll not only be able to visit smaller ports and charming islands the bigger ships can't reach, but you can get to know your fellow passengers better, and make long-lasting friendships. Plus, Cruise and Maritime's Magellan, Marco Polo and Astoria operate as 'child free ships' - just perfect for a getaway from the crowds, and enjoying the company of adults only.

Throughout the day, you can tuck into delicious feasts freshly prepared by expert chefs, and served by attentive and friendly restaurant staff - from a full English breakfast, a delightful buffet lunch with superb ocean views, afternoon tea, a sumptuous five course-dinner, and even late night snacks! You will simply be spoilt for choice. At night, you can enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, and glittering entertainment, heading to the Show Lounge after dinner for an enjoyable cabaret performance, speciality acts or guest entertainers, or simply enjoy a good conversation and liquor to the accompaniments of the ship's resident pianist and violinist. All this can be enjoyed at outstanding value for money!

Tracey, Bella and Sharon have all visited Marco Polo, while Rachel has sailed on her. Rachel and Tracey have also sailed on Magellan. Amy and Rachel have stayed overnight on Vasco da Gama.

Tracey says: 'I was on Magellan when she first sailed with CMV – she is a lovely ship, I thought she was very spacious onboard. I had an Inside cabin onboard – I was worried at first as I don’t like being cramped, but I was amazed on how spacious the cabins were. The staff onboard were amazing – very friendly and always helpful - and the food and drink were great. I do like a good cocktail or two, and the Frank Sinatra Drinks Lounge was perfecto – they know how to make a good cocktail! The entertainment was standard but good to watch. As a small ship, getting off at PORTS went fab as well.'
