Celebrity are award-winning and innovative, boasting a number of industry firsts, including the first cruise to have an onboard iced-top bar (the stylish and trendy Crush, which offers an extraordinary range of martinis), the first Authorised Apple Specialist at sea with the futuristic Celebrity iLounge, the first Hot Glass Show at sea, and the first 'Lawn Club' of real growing grass, beautifully manicured and just perfect for picnics and evening concerts under the stars. With their distinctive, modern style, pioneering innovations, and lifestyle focus, Celebrity are redefining cruising in a new, modern luxury way.
Sleek, spacious ships with well-appointed accommodation, a grand style, attentive service, extraordinary cuisine, and a diverse range of onboard activities to enhance your experience, from tasting, playing, to reviving, and even learning, are the distinctive hallmarks of a Celebrity cruise experience.
Onboard, you're simply spoilt for choice: from over fifty types of martini in an ice-topped bar, and a range of other cosmopolitan and trendy bars and lounges, to up to 12 dining venues, including classic and contemporary dining, al fresco venues, rustic Italian and pan-Asian cuisine, healthy eating in Blu, French haute cuisine, and Qsine, the unique and innovative specialty restaurant where you can order a feast from an iPad, including Disco Shrimp and Sushi lollypops, and more. Your onboard experience is also enhanced with food & wine pairing, a Riedel Comparative Crystal Wine Workshop, Mixology classes, and Star Chefs Cooking Competitions, and a range of classes to stimulate your mind - including 'Lets Dance' classes, Art Tours and Classes, and Rosetta Stone language lessons - to a smorgasbord of indulgent treatments at the onboard Canyon Ranch Spa Club.
Rachel and Sharon have sailed onboard Celebrity Equinox. Rachel and Amy have cruised on Celebrity Eclipse on a 5 night mini cruise from Southampton, visiting Le Havre and Bruges. Amy has also visited Celebrity Silhouette.
Amy says: 'Celebrity Eclipse and Silhouette are both part of Celebity's Solstice class, and they're both very beautiful and glitzy. I would recommend buying a drinks package as drinks can be pricey onboard, particularly with taxes and grats on top. There's an incredible range of cocktails onboard, and there's even a vast variety between bars. Crush, the martini bar with an ice top is a cool hangout (pun intended) and boasts an extraordinary range of martinis. Another must when cruising with Celebrity is make sure you dine at Qsine, one of the specialty restaurants onboard - it makes for a fun and very tasty dining experience, and is ideal for foodies and families alike.'
Sharon says: 'I have sailed on the Celebrity Eclipse and this to date is my favourite large ship. I thought the attention to detail in the cabins and lounge areas was excellent. Although a large ship it never felt as though you were one of thousands of passengers. Service and food very good. I thought the entertainment was excellent.'
