Sharon will be celebrating her 40th anniversary in travel this year, and she still loves the diversity her job gives her, with no two days the same in the office. She started travel wanting to learn about other countries and have the opportunity to travel, and she finds that after 40 years, there's still so much to learn about the ever-changing world of travel, and it's a continuous learning curve. With cruising in particular, Sharon loves how vastly different cruise lines, and clients, are, and for her, the satisfaction of matching the right cruise for the right person is the best part of her job.
For Sharon, cruising around the glamour and chic ports of southern France and the Mediterranean is heaven - visiting destinations such as Monte Carlo are ideal for watching the yachts and the 'beautiful people' go by. However she also enjoys river cruising, too, although her clumsiness levels seem to go through the roof, having fallen over (rather amusingly) on both a Tauck river cruise along the Danube, and a Christmas Markets cruise with The River Cruise Line, an incident which involved leaning on a glass door and falling over a Christmas Tree. So if you see our Sharon on a river cruise, please make sure that there's nothing for her to trip over (or at least make sure that you're out of harm's way)! Falling over aside, Sharon's Danube river cruise was one of her favourite cruising experiences so far.
