CRUISE SELECT was established in 1996. The company has enjoyed rapid expansion under the ownership of Rachel Wright, who is strongly supported by Shelley Bill, Bella Sudra, Sarah Nicholson, Julie Barker, Tracey Cunningham and Sharon Williams. This very dedicated friendly team of cruise specialists can help you with all that is going on in the World of Cruising.

We make it our business to keep up to date with the ever-changing cruise scene of company takeovers and acquisitions, new builds, ships changing hands, worldwide itineraries and the most attractive prices available to you on the market. It is our business to belong to prestige associations such as the 'LCA' (The Leading Cruise Agents), & 'ACE' (Association of Cruise Experts) and our duty to attend cruise seminars, ship visits in port, take educational cruises and to take personal holidays afloat. We do not pay our staff commissions leaving them free to pass on their knowledge and impartial advice to you.

At Cruise Select we cater for all types of cruising and we offer reduced fares on all of them. We are conversant with information about all the Luxury Cruise Lines, River Cruising, Soft Adventure, Expedition Cruising, Tall Ships, Family cruising, Round the World Cruising and Cargo Ships.

We believe that there is always a place for a company offering cruise expertise and personal knowledge and service and whilst we respect the internet for its amazing provision of cruise information we find that many internet users turn to us for reassurance and the security of placing their payment with a fully bonded company. Cruise Select is a fully bonded member of ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents which means you have the benefit of ABTA’s assistance and Code of Conduct. Many of the travel arrangements that we sell are protected in case of the financial failure of the travel company. Please ask us about the protection that applies to your booking.

The Cruise Select staff are all Cruise specialists, having visited or cruised on so many of the cruise ships in operation today, giving them first hand knowledge to pass on to their clients. Their invaluable experience ensures that they match the right cruise for their clients. We are constantly receiving updates, offers and news from well over 50 different cruise lines and trained on the new trends in the industry. They will do all the hard work and research on your behalf, to assist you in selecting and booking the right cruise for you, whether it is your first time cruising or your 20th.

Meet The Team

Rachel Rachel has been in the travel industry for over 30 years and has specialized in cruising for many years. She has experienced all types of cruising, including sailing on the luxury lines such as Silversea Cruises, Hebridean Island Cruises, and Hapag Lloyds ‘Europa’ (the only ship to be voted ‘Best Ship in the World’ for 8 years in a row!). Her own holidays have included cruising with luxury lines, Regent Seven Seas and Oceania Cruises. Rachel has river cruised on European Rivers far flung rivers including the Mekong Delta with Pandaw and in 2010 Rachel sailed on the Irrawaddy River onboard Orient Express's 'Road to Mandalay. She has also experienced tall ship cruising aboard the Star Clipper and Royal Clipper. Here are some of the areas she has cruised - Alaska, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asia, Arctic Circle, Iceland, Norwegian Fjords and Baltic.
Julie Julie has been in the travel industry for over 35 years, mostly in Bedfordshire and brings with her a wealth of invaluable knowledge. Julie’s passion for travel has taken her to many parts of the world; here is a short list, South, Central & North America, Bermuda, Dubai, Asia, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Far East, Indonesia, Indian Ocean, South America, including Brazil and Argentina, many of the Caribbean Islands and Europe. Julie has cruised with P&O Cruises, Oceania Cruises Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Viking River Cruises. Julie has experienced Expedition Cruising aboard Hapag Lloyds ship ‘Bremen’ and Silverseas Prince Albert, Julie certainly is our 'Expedition and Luxury Cruise specialist.
Shelley Shelley has been specializing in cruising for over 10 years and she has also cruised with many lines, including P & O Cruises, Cunard, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, Swan Hellenic, plus luxury lines, Regent Seven Seas and Crystal Cruises. Shelley has also experienced river cruising with Ama Waterways. Shelley chose Cunard's Queen Victoria to spend her honeymoon on.
Bella Bella is our WORLDWIDE TAILORMADE HOLIDAY SPECIALIST. As well as cruising, Bella has travelled extensively and is extremely knowledgeable on many parts of the world, including SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, BORNEO, JAPAN, THAILAND, SOUTH AFRICA, KENYA, ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA, NAMIBIA, BRAZIL, CANADA, USA, OMAN, DUBAI, EGYPT, QATAR, INDIA & THE INDIAN OCEAN. The great thing about tailor-made travel is that your complete trip is designed around your interests and budget. Bella can tailor-make your entire holiday so whatever you want from you trip she can use her extensive knowledge and plan your ideal itinerary. Bella has cruised with P&O Cruises, NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines), Hurtigruten, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and river cruised with APT and AMA Waterways.
Tracey Tracey has been in the travel industry for 16 years and again is very well travelled. Some of her favorite destinations are USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Egypt, Europe & Iceland. Tracey is our Tailor Made and Group Travel specialist. Tracey thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful time experiencing part of the 'Classic Round Voyage' with Hurtigruten (formally known as Norwegian Coastal Voyages) and she will be delighted to offer her expert advice on this very unique product. Tracey has also cruised with P&O Cruises and has experienced European River Cruising onboard the luxury river vessel the Royal Crown.
Sharon Sharon has been in the travel industry for 33 years and is well travelled. Sharon has cruised with Celebrity Cruises, Oceania Cruises, P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises and experienced European river cruising. Sharon is one of our Tailor Made Worldwide Specialists and Luxury Cruise Specialists.
