THOMSON RETURNS TO UK
Thomson Cruises will be offering no-fly cruises from the UK next year for the first time since 2009.
Thomson Spirit will be based in Newcastle from May to July 2012 and in Harwich in August and September, sailing a variety of voyages to destinations including Baltic, Iceland and Norwegian Fjords, and also a debut round-Britain cruise.
The 11-night voyage will be visiting Guernsey, Dublin, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Mull, the Orkney Islands and Edinburgh. Prices start at £949 per person cruise-only.
A one off ‘Weekend Affair’ cruise to Belgium and Holland has been added and is ideal as a taster cruise for those guests that have not experienced cruising or for passengers looking for a short break away.
To mark the launch of ex-UK cruises, Thomson is offering up to £100 on-board cruise credit to passengers who book by June 30, 2011. Early bookers can also save up to 25% on all cabin upgrades and choose free parking at Harwich or Newcastle, or complimentary coach transfers to either port.
The rest of the fleet will be deployed across the Mediterranean next summer. Thomson Dream will be sailing four seven-night cruises from Palma that can be combined into a two week holiday.
Thomason Celebration will be based in Marmaris in Turkey, also offering four combinable seven night itineraries.
Thomson Destiny is moving from Palma to Corfu to replace Thomson Spirit and will be sailing seven and 14-night cruises.
Thomson Spirit cruises are on sale now with the rest of the 2012 programme available to book from May 5.
